Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays.  The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment.  Digital x-rays are instantaneous, and there is no longer a need to wait to develop the film.  Digital x-rays save time and increase the quality of patient care.  They also are a very “green” technology.  By eliminating film, developer and chemical waste it is better for you and the environment!

Using Electronic Medical Records, our practice is able to quickly and accurately access patient information in order to provide the utmost in patient care.  This helps to ensure patient confidentiality as well as reduce the need for paper.  Using a digital format allows for quick access to your child's information when needed for insurance records yet provides a secure filing system.

This advanced technology provides digital x-rays in any room and in any patient chair position. Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays. The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment. We use this technology for our sedation patients that can’t tolerate the conventional radiograph acquisition process.

Traditionally, teeth are polished using handpieces that have to be plugged in with a long cord that can be uncomfortable for patients. We use wireless prophy handpieces that are faster and more powerful, but still quieter than traditional prophy handpieces. They also reduce aerosols providing for a cleaner environment.

These handpieces provide less vibration and noise than traditional dental drills. Not only are they quieter, but also more efficient in tooth preparation making dental procedures shorter and more manageable.

We have installed Clean Air Purifiers to all of our operaties, hygiene bays as well as the check in area to improve the quality of the air in our office for both our patients and our staff. Our military grade Air Cleaners multi -stage filtration and sterilization process provides clean, purified, and energized air with fewer viruses, bacteria, bio-aerosols, odors, particulates, molds, and fungus. For the organisms tested, (virus, bacteria, fungus) our Air Purifiers achieved very near to the maximum removal of the airborne particulates.
